Who knows ? My own hope is that she is steppin' aside so as to spend full time--as is Romney et al prepping for a Presidential run. Maybe not--perhaps she is dumpin' the entire mess--I just do not think so--but then only she has an idea of what she intends-- I , at this moment hope she runs for Pres as she would truly be the outside the beltway person that I think we need. She really has the Dem Libs worried--and that is good.

I can only think one of two things are in the works: 1. She goes up against Lisa Murkowski for the Alaska Senate seat in 2010. Or... 2. She will have some sort of radio or TV show deal lined up. Those are really the only two things that would make any kind of sense to me. People forget how long she has to run for Prez. It will never cease to amaze me that the media thought she was unqualified as the most popular governor in the country and Obama who is truly making a hash of things was qualified. Obama reminds me of a student body president at a left wing school. He is terrifying. Only Carter was worse.

In the meantime, overseas she goes to learn--Speakin' gigs here to learn. This should be the classic run of a Washington outsider fot the POTUS !

And I think she is done with politics for now. I think the reason she resigned was that all kinds of baseless charges were leveled against her and she had to defend them legally. Her lawyer warned if they continued she was going to sue the media. She is very young and has twenty more years to run. No matter what she did the media trashed her. Can anyone even imagine if some idiot like Letterman trashed the daughter of Obama?

People will not like the fact that she quit in the middle of her first term. Spin it any way you want to, that is the impression she has left. The incumbant comes from a family with deep Republican roots and, I would guess, a much stronger organization. I certainly do not know what is in her mind but , I would guess, she realized that her position for financial exploitation would never be greater than it is today. Every day she spends as governor of Alaska decreases her marketability as her popularity in Alaska was receding and she was increasingly dissapearing from the national public view being marooned in that great state. I would expect that she will write a book, give speaches and take in a lot of money. That done , she will pop up in a Fox News slot and try to do a Huckabee. She has a following and an interesting public presentation that would appeal to a certain conservative base. She would be a sucess on that network. I believe she should give John Mccain 50% of her future earnings as, without him, she would have been govoernor of a small, politically inconsequental state whith ambitions of re election or perhaps a run for the 2nd senate seat , if she remained popular

That said, I don't think she wants to be in the US Senate. I really don't know where she is going, but she will save her family hundreds of thousands in legal fees that they were paying to defend her from the baseless ethics charges being filed against her on a regular basis. I believe that is the custom of Great Britan

It is one of a very few states in the Black-financially. It would be even bettr off if it were not for the anchor that the EPA and the Greens have placed around its neck. This state is a fishing gold mine commercially along with logging and the MILITARY , and do not forget OIL. One thing for sure, ALASKA was great to me financially. SARAH will be back--She has one BIG thing goin' for her--SHE draws huge crowds wherever she goes. People like her. They identify with her.
