Good question, which Gallup posed in their latest poll. The answer? For 47
percent of Republicans, they didn&#39;t know.That was closely followed by a two-way tie for third between Newt Gingrich and Rush Limbaugh.


Basically, this only reinforces the identity crisis the party as a whole has nationally. But don&#39;t tell that to the right wing of the party, who probably
revel in purging their ranks of, as Mike Huckabee calls it, the &quot;mushy... ]]>

because people don&#39;t want to call themselves Republican doesn&#39;t mean they won&#39;t vote for a decent Republican candidate.  I just found a couple of
old friends from my Young Republican days on FB and they list themselves as Libertarians.  I think that is their way of protesting against the big spending
